2020-2021 SPRING SEMESTER LANDSCAPE DESIGN COURSES

TES 211E Project III (CRN: 22151)
will be led by Assoc. Prof. F. Ayçim Türer Başkaya, PhD. and will be assisted by Res. Asst. Başak Akarsu in spring 2021.

This studio considers landscapes of the future by interrogating the interplay between ecology and technology. Under an ecologic concern, students will handle the blue-green network of the Bosphorus area for their multi-scale studies. Discussions on past, current, and future will lead the students forward their design proposals.

The studio holds one common module and two sequential modules, starting from city-scale to neighborhood and individual scales.
Common Module involves the overall concept of “eco-villages and settlements” within an interdisciplinary setting.

The studio stands on an interactive platform involving workshops, seminars, guest experts, and jury members.
