2019-2020 Güz Dönemi Peyzaj Mimarlığı Bitirme Çalışması’nın (PEM492-PEM492E) konusu açıklandı. Çalışma; doğal yeşil ve mavi sistemlerini içerisinde barındıran bir vadi sistemlerindeki yeşil alan yönetimi, üretimi ve kullanım biçimleri, su ve toprak yönetimi, iklim değişikliği, sosyo-kültürel mekan üretimleri ve sosyo-ekolojik sistemleri gibi durumları Mardin kenti Savur ilçesi üzerinden peyzaj ölçeğinde tartışmayı hedeflemektedir. SOCIO-ECOLOGICAL VALLEYS OF MARDİN
Within the scope of PEM 492E Graduation Project in 2019-2020 Fall Semester, it is aimed to create a region-specific socio-ecological development guide by examining the geomorphological and social and cultural changes of valley systems in and around Mardin. In this context, the main topics of the project are:
- Developing a guide to the socio-ecological development of climate change in line with the new identity of the region
- Developing new design practices for sustainability of cultural memory in the axis of climate change
- Developing new design practices to ensure the continuity of natural and cultural landscape memory.
- Development of climate-resistant socio-ecological landscape designs
- Considerin the impact of human interventions on the socio-ecological structure of the region.
- Documenting the current cultural memory and heritage, creating an inventory of the future and creating sustainable landscape scenarios for the maintenance of this heritage
